Day 1!

Today was our first day of grade 1 and it was a fun entry to a full day at Copperfield!

We went outside for recess and we played on the park and played with some outdoor equipment.

We had our first snack time. Please make sure to only eat one or two item from lunches for snack so we would have more for lunch.

We also played a lot of centers like drawing, blocks, and legos to ease into the schedule of the day.

We read a story called Pout Pout Fish about a fish that went back to school and was not confident at doing work but in the end he learned that everyone at school like the teachers are there to help them succeed and we are all learners.

In art, we opened our first page in our new journals and drew ourselves on our first day of grade 1!!

In Ms Nish's class we had circle time and we shared about the things we loved today, and in Mr. Graham's we shared about things that we had in common!

Reminder: Tomorrow is Friday and students start at 8:05 for soft entry until 8:15. Students finish school at 11:45am.
