 Hello Families, 

In math, we started measurement. We learned about non-standard measurement - we need to make sure that the objects we use to measure are all the same size and that they are all touching each other. In partners, we measured each other using different objects in the classroom. 

In gym, Ms. Nish's class went outside and played an Indigenous game. In this game, we practice fishing and hunting like the Indigenous people. Ask me about it. 

In music, we practiced our winter concert song. Our singing was amazing and we can't wait to show you. Ask me what number I sit on and who I sit beside. 

In science, we talked about area. Area is how much space objects take up on a flat surface. We created an Area Avenue - we cut out different size buildings and houses and we will be continuing talking about this tomorrow.
