Today we did a part of the provincial number screening assessment today. We will be continuing this assessment the rest of this week.  Teachers have also been sitting with students to do the provincial literacy assessment with each student. 

In math, we played an addition math game with cards. We worked in partners and flipped two cards. The person who can add the number together the fastest wins. 

In ELA, we did writing and wrote about a picture that was shown to students. We practiced sounding words that we dont know. 

Reid shared his Me Bag today! 

In Gym, we continued to play hockey. Today we passed pucks with a partner. 

Reminders: 

• Please bring in home reading bags. We will be sending one home reading book starting tomorrow. Students can bring back the book every day to get a new book. These books are new and we have talked about how to take care of them. Students are encouraged to continue to read red folders and on Raz-Kidz as well.
