 Hello Families, 

Today we learned the "th" unvoiced sound. For example: with, sixth. We have been getting better at our spelling using digraphs. We have learned ck, sh, th (voiced - this, that) and th (unvoiced). Practice with me at home! 

Ms. Nish's class did a Story Map today. We read "Snowman at Night" and talked about characters, setting, beginning, middle and end. 

We went to check out the new library space today. 

In Science, we continued our learning about snowflakes. We talked about the life cycle of a snowflake. We really enjoyed watching this video!

To kick start Kindness Month, we saw our buddies today! We made a card from them and our buddies made a card for us. We got to know our buddies a little bit more today! 

In Ms. Nish's class, we started "Ms. Nish caught me being kind". This is where Ms. Nish secretly takes photos of us being kind. Our goal is to fill our board up with kindness!

Valentine's Day: If you would like to hand out valentine's day cards, please make sure that each student in their respective classes gets one. There are 24 students in Mr. Graham's class and 24 students in Ms. Nish's class. (You do not have to get cards both classes!) We will have some time on February 14 for fun activities and for the students to open up their cards.
