 Today we all did another writing check-in looking at the sounds 'ck' 'th' and some of our heart words such as "said" "of" "goes". Remember a heart word is a word that does not follow spelling rules!

Students continued to examine the life cycle of a snow flake. Ask your child what shape is the middle of a snowflake (hexagon) and how many "arms" does a snowflake have! (6)

We also worked on counting on in math: Start at any number and able to count on from that number without restarting at 0. 

Hopefully the ice outside starts to melt soon! Please be safe when walking around outside. Walk like a penguin!! Balzac Billy saw his shadow today just outside Calgary, meaning 6 more weeks of winter. Happy Groundhog Day! This made Mr. Graham and Mrs. Nish sad.
