May 6
Today,
We all went to went to music to practice our songs for our Spring Assembly this Friday at 1030 (parents are welcome to join, we are just not sending out a big email- fire code reasons)
While Mrs. Nish's class played math games, Mr. Graham's class was practicing their skits for the assembly.
Both classes had gym and started playing soccer as the new focus this week!
In ELA, Mrs. Nish's class reviewed some sounds 'ed' (makes the sounds 'd' 't' and 'ed') and 'ing'. While Mr. Graham's class started with 'ar' sound. As we move into the warmer months, it is great to be outside and enjoy the weather, but do not forget to keep reading! Keep it in the bed time routine or at dinner time! Have them read, you read, or hunt for certain words in a story!!
***Keep an eye out for school email from the office regarding May 28 field trip to the Zoo. It should arrive this week!!!*** It will contain itinerary, fee info, expectations, and of course the forms needed! You can email those forms signed, back to the teacher, or print them off and send them signed with your child (If you have a working printer... Mr. Graham does not like his home printer that constantly does not work).
